The alpha release of version 0.8 of Construct is now available from the Construct website. This release includes a lot of contributions from members of the Systems Research Group over the past few months. The full release for 0.8 is due in Q4 2008. See the CHANGELOG.txt enclosed in the distribution for full details.

Graeme is a no-longer exiled Scot, currently studying for a PhD at the University of St Andrews. As part of this enlightenment Graeme has developed Construct, a middleware for pervasive computing, and Ontonym, a set of ontologies for describing interesting things. His latest project, Logan, provides a basis for reasoning about said interesting things.
Graeme is a music, semantic web, programming, poker, curry, and coffee enthusiast. He also regards himself as a versatile footballer — being equally ineffective in a number of positions.
